Do's

Preparing the pitch: practicing for pitch is key, you should practice it in variety of ways for example filming yourself presenting the pitch before hand and watching it to pic out the cons of the pitch and or the way you present and then improve upon them.

Emotion: Showing passion towards the pitch, not exactly shouting and saying you love the product but showing you actually care about the thing you are presenting will make you connect with your audience.

Timing:Whether you’ve been given 10 minutes or 10 seconds, deliver your pitch in the time you were given.

Professionalism: Don’t be fooled by a friendly, warm, welcoming atmosphere; a pitch is still a professional exercise. You need to strike the balance between being relaxed and being serious.

Don'ts

Verbal: do not talk in an improper  use it to fit the tone.

Timing: Never go over time, stay on time and try to use the correct time that use presentation deserves.

don’t get lost: stay on track with pitch you create know what you are fully pitching and make sure you know  what point you are trying to create and how you getting that point or product across.
